This scholarship was established in 2022, in loving memory of our founder's brother, Jeffrey, who dedicated over 20 years to nursing.

We are awarding this scholarship to support current nursing students with their tuition and expenses. Additionally, we hope it will help address healthcare disparities and encourage more black females to pursue a career in nursing.

The scholarship award totals $5,000 to be divided among the selected winners.

2021 Philly Girl Scholars

This scholarship was created in response to the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, racial unrest, and increased gun violence and murders in Philadelphia. Our aim is to counter the prevailing sense of hopelessness and lack of resources in poverty-stricken neighborhoods by investing in our girls. We are committed to supporting them throughout their college journey.
